"After the events of the first Professor Layton game, Specter's Flute, Layton recieved a ticket to the opera house from opera singer Jenice Kaitly. A year prior to that event, her good friend Melina, who was seven years old, told her that "She has gotten a hold of the 'eternal life'". So Layton, Luke, and Remi head to the Crown Petone, the opera house in London, to investigate.
The pianist, Ozro Vislar gives Layton and Luke a suspicious feeling. Could he be a part of the mystery? What plans are in store for the trio, and what exactly is the 'eternal life'?"
